UTRCA Watershed Conservation Centre

The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority is building a new Watershed Conservation Centre (WCC) at Fanshawe Conservation Area. The building is the culmination of many years of study and planning (see TIME LINE).

The two-storey WCC will provide approximately 36,000 square feet, and will replace the current Administration Building (9,500 sq. ft.), two used portables and offices in Fanshawe Dam.

The WCC is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building, targeting LEED Platinum certification (see MORE ABOUT LEED). Construction is projected to be completed in August 2012.
