Bring your class to Fanshawe Conservation Area for a fun and educational outdoor program. We offer a wide variety of activities for all grade levels. Our teaching flexibility lets us modify most programs to complement your in-class studies.

Bookings are on a first come, first served basis. Book early to avoid disappointment as some dates and programs fill quickly. To book a program or for more information, please contact:

Program length: 1.5 to 2 hours. If you choose to have lunch at Fanshawe CA before or after your program, why not make it a Litterless Lunch!

Cost: Outdoor programs: $5.75/student, minimum $80.00/class if 14 students or fewer. Please pay in cash or by cheque, payable to the UTRCA, on the day of the program.

Size of group: Most programs can accommodate two classes. Suggested student/adult ratio is 5:1 for primary grades, 10:1 for junior and intermediate grades, and 15:1 for senior grades.

Wheelchair accessibility: Some of our trails are wheelchair accessible. Please let us know in advance so that we can accommodate your student's special needs.

Cancellation policy: Two weeks' notice is required to cancel a program; otherwise, the school will be invoiced for 50% of the total program cost. Cancellations due to inclement weather will not be charged.
