Celebrate the Thames, a special project of the Urban League of London, aimed to increase Londoners' knowledge, awareness and appreciation of the Thames River and its valley lands.  The project has received broad community support.  During and subsequent to the 1996-1997 year of Celebrate the Thames, a number of different educational, artistic and community inititiatives were produced.   The watershed map, The Thames - Our Heritage, and the set of eight illustrated booklets, Thames Topics, can be viewed on this website.
