Fanshawe Conservation AreaFanshawe Conservation Area is located on the northeast edge of the City of London (MAP). |

Fanshawe's 1200 hectares of land and water attract over 175,000 visitors each year. The park was created when Fanshawe Dam and Reservoir were completed in 1952. The dam was constructed mainly to help reduce flood damages in London. Fanshawe CA is open 24 hours/day from April 24 to October 18, 2009. Outside of this season, the park is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (closed on statutory holidays). To see maps of the park and campground, click HERE. |
