Reservation Policies

Reservations

  • Site reservations will be accepted up to 6 months in advance of your arrival.

  • There is a $12.00 non-refundable reservation fee applied to all reservations

  • All campsite reservations must be paid in full by Visa or MasterCard at the time of booking (reservation fee plus camping fees).

  • When making multiple reservations for the same time period, the same name cannot be used for each campsite. The reservation must be in the name of the person who is arriving to pick up the campsite permit. Name changes cannot be made upon arrival.

  • A 2 night minimum stay is required on the Victoria Day (May) long weekend as well as all weekends from June 24 to September 5. No refunds will be issued during these time periods for a shortened stay.

To reserve a seasonal campsite, book a group site, or rent a facility, please call the Conservation Areas directly.

Making a Reservation - please have ready:

  • Conservation Area name (Fanshawe, Wildwood or Pittock)

  • Type of site - electrical (15 or 30 amp), non-electrical, regular or water front (limited availability)

  • Arrival and departure dates

  • Type and size of camping equipment

  • Name, address, postal code, telephone number, number in your party

  • Method of payment (Visa or MasterCard number and expiry date)

Reservation Confirmation

  • Confirmation letters will be mailed to anyone making a reservation by phone a least one week in advance of arrival date, or can be printed once confirmed online.

  • Please bring this letter with you when you come in to camp. Please refer to your booking number when making any reservation changes.

Changing or Cancelling

  • Changes to a reservation or cancellations can be made by calling 1-866-ONT-CAMP or by visiting the website. Please have your booking number ready. An $8.00 fee will be charged for each cancellation or change.

  • Cancel your reservation before noon on the day of your arrival to receive a full refund (minus reservation and cancellation fees). Cancellations received after noon on your arrival day will forfeit all fees.

  • Campsite reservations are held until noon on the day following your scheduled arrival date.

  • There are no refunds for inclement weather.

General Policies

  • One vehicle permit is included with your campsite. Any additional vehicles registered to the campsite must purchase an "Additional Vehicle Permit" at time of campsite registration.

  • All visitors to the campground must purchase a daily vehicle pass and park in designated parking areas. Visitors are admitted from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm daily, except on holiday weekends when no visitors will be admitted after 8:00 pm. Hours may be restricted at other times at the discretion of the Superintendent/Designate. Visitors must vacate property by 11:00 pm nightly.

  • A maximum of 6 people can occupy a campsite unless comprised of a single family unit (parents and children).

  • Campsite check in time is after 2:00 pm, and check out time is before 2:00 pm.

  • You are allowed up to 3 pieces of shelter equipment on your campsite. Only one of these pieces can be a tent trailer, house trailer, motor home, or self-propelled camping unit.

  • The possession or consumption of alcohol will be prohibited at Fanshawe Conservation Area during a 5 day period of the Victoria Day weekend each May.
